This is quite powerful and sad. The style quite different from what your normally try. I loved it .... and then great use of all the prompts. Hugs

Hiya..Yep was tired of fitting in the prompts within the prose. Thought why not a footnote..:) Glad you enjoyed it..and I am hoping next time I favour one prompt over others.
Thanks a ton for stopping over..<3 *Hugs*

Wow! I love that you used all the prompts! That takes some A+ acrobatics in my opinion. And it all works cohesively for your evocative story!

I really like that each of these sections continued from the other so naturally, even as they fulfilled four different prompts.

The third one, especially, tilted the notion of leaving and betrayal by love affair to dying and abandoning a partner long before expected. That was a skilful, poignant shift.

I am so happy to hear that the merger was seamless...was a bit worried about putting the prompts in between..whether it will affect the flow..your words put me at ease..:)

The third one was tricky for me...initially, I did work around separation/divorce but it didn't feel all right...and then this idea popped in..and things fell in place.
Thanks for all the appreciation and a wonderful feedback...:) Glad that you stopped by..<3
