Hey :) Thanks. I wondered whether it would work since I used a lot of Hindi words and then a paragraph of explanation later. I am relieved to know you enjoyed it :)
You surely should try the food someday!
Thanks a ton for stopping by <3

It's wonderful to be in love with a city. When I lived there I felt the same way about New York, smelly patches and all.

There's nothing like a travelogue with someone who knows their city well! I also liked the video you linked with the pickpocket explaining the ins and outs of what old Bombay was back in the day!

Really, your description has at least a few parallels to my hometown, NYC, not the least of which is the rail lines (in our case the Subway) being the lifeline to the city and the really good street food you can get there... though most people don't "survive" on it, the food trucks that park on the street corners do serve some pretty amazing stuff and are often better than some of the restaurants! And of course our Baseball teams, the Americanization of Cricket!

Now I'm hungry for some Indian food!

Happy to know that you liked the video :) It's a very old song and yet still holds true.

Ah! I have heard that New York is quite similar to Mumbai and now after reading this I can actually see the parallel. I would love to try some street food from there. And actually, I almost wrote about Cricket after researching the prompt and was explaining the term to my family & friends with a cricket analogy :D

I hope you try some Indian delicacy this weekend :) Thanks a ton for stopping by <3 I liked what you shared here.
