The planned v. spontaneous dynamic can indeed be tough! I'm a rigid planner for some things and a seat-of-the-pants lady for others. I like the way you contextualized this with New Years.

Planning not to plan sounds like a great plan! I love the idea of evolution favoring the puck, but does it also favor the unplanned?

Hey ... pretty good job on the prompt .... You and me both know how life doesn't take the trajectory we wish it did .... and yes our forever planning and eternal worrying seldom helps us ... So yeah since the puck decidedly has a mind of its own ... we might as well just follow it ...
