I am so tired. I'm revamping my music on the computer. That means deleting songs I don't want on here, and starting my iTunes library from scratch. Oh, and cutting down from 1000+ songs to perhaps about 600.
Why?
My dad, while installing something on my computer the other day, was shocked to find that I only had 25% of memory left on my hard drive

So I've started downloading and getting music from my friend, so eventually some things are really going to have to go...and if it really comes down to it, I know what it will be first- Nightwish, the few Theatre of Tragedy I have, and Cartel, because my friend wants me to try them out lol. But yeah, I'll eventually just start to gradually delete what I don't like as I hear it.

Yes! That's what making this take so long! I just CANNOT decide, even though all the songs I have are backed up on CDs anyway.
Nightwish? Noooooooooooo. Have you heard the new songs, by the way? With the new singer?
Theatre of Tragedy? Nooooooooooo. Unless those songs are from that weird industrial phase they went through. Then that's okay. But have you tried listening to stuff from Aegis? That's the best album, IMO.
Cartel? Never heard of a Cartel...

ToT: I have Assembly if that's that industrial phase you are talking about. I'll download Aegis and see what I think.
Cartel: Guy band, umm...sing that song Honesty or Honestly. Not that bad of a song, not too much my thing...but then i'm soo all over when it comes to music, that I ask: what is my thing?

Anyway, Assembly is part of that weird industrial phase. :) I don't know what ToT were thinking, but their best stuff was with the Old English lyrics and with Liv.
I'll see what Cartel is like.

In any case I know the sacrifices that have to be made, even on my craptacular 56k connection a fair few computer games have met their end this way. Even on mny 56k collection I managed to download a fair few things. Hooray for incredibly cheap CD-R!
And don't you find transfering / organizing files a deceptively long task?
