lost and found

Oh, guess what I found while digging through the medicine cabinet in search for Band-Aids? My spyglass. I had this gold-plated one bound in leather and I found it there, safely in its case. How awesome is that. I lost it years ago when my brother took it and then, forgot all about it. I have no idea how it got to the cabinet but who cares. I found ( Read more... )

I love it when you find things out of nowhere. Tended to happen to me in the garden finding bouncy balls and latterly arrows which I'd lost in the grass and hedges.

Whoever put that half-eaten bar back in the box really ought to familiarize themselves with Pasteur's germ theory.

When we were living in that nifty little apartment in the poor area of Mountain View, my dad lost his shoe. My brother, at that time around three, found it.
In the dishwasher.

What I remember of being three makes me think he might've been the one who placed it there in the first place...

Random bits of stylistic elements

I know exactly what you mean. We used to find a bunch of balls in the hedges that surround our backyard and it didn't take us long to realize that we didn't even remember owning some of them. Turns out that the kids in the daycare that's behind our house like to throw things...:D

Ah, I doubt that an eleven-year-old would understand the germ theory but I shall speak to him.
It seems that my brother is responsible for a lot of things... Life with a younger sibling never gets boring. :)

:D :D :D at the end.
