I don't disagree with my original stamp, or at least I didn't at the time, but it was... quite awhile ago, to say the least, and I've changed quite a bit since then so I'm curious. I hope no one minds if I don't mention my previous stamp for the sake of not biasing it one way or the other, however.

1. What are your four worst qualities?
1. I'm very self-critical and am prone towards verbally beating myself up whenever I make a mistake. Since I do this even with relatively minor things, this has a number of other negative side-effects I'll let you ponder. I am critical of others to an extent as well, but I'm usually much more forgiving in that case.
2. Obstinate. I won't easily give up or back-down, and while that determination may seem like a positive trait, once I get an idea in my head, I find myself wanting to try it regardless of what many others think of it.
3. My personality can seem rather contradicting. For instance, I can be cynical, yet any cynicism stems from my ideals about how the world should be (which is relative, I know, yet--) creating disappointment. Or how, while I see no reason to be loyal to anything you're born into and/or don't know well, I'm incredibly loyal to those I consider friends. I've had people view me as cold and near ruthless, yet others see me as understanding and helpful. As for why this is a negative, it does occasionally create problems...
4. I can be manipulative if I feel the need to be. I'm good at reading people, and generally speaking, there are many situations which can't be tackled head-on and thus require different methods in order to reach a better outcome. I do have limits on this-- for instance, I'd never do this to someone I'd consider a friend or more... unless they're about to do something incredibly irrational and aren't listening to reason or something, but I tend to not befriend people like that in the first place.
What are your four best qualities?
1. I'm particularly calm in many definitions of the word. I always keep my head, rarely show signs of panic in stressful or "dangerous" situations, and while I can become irritated or disgusted, it's nearly impossible to make me angry.
2. I'm also quite analytical... which I suppose can be both a positive and negative. On the plus side, I can rationalize before making decisions. On the minus side, when you combine it with the above trait, I can come off as calculating to some people.
3. I'm independent, which is rather self-explanatory. Please note this is definitely not the same thing as being a loner; I like being around (non-annoying) people, but I'm simply self-efficient and self-taught about many aspects of life.
4. I'd like to think I'm fairly clever. I'm good at coming up with ideas and thinking of solutions in any case.
3. What is your favorite quote?
To be honest, I have no idea.
4. What is your favorite color? Why?
Dark green, dark red, various off shades of orange and purple... As for why, a combination of "they're pretty" and other various reasons for each one, but I think their prettiness is really the main reason.
5. What are your hobbies and talents?
As for hobbies-- Various music, reading (especially historical fiction and classics), interneting, trying to learn as many languages as possible, debating/paying more attention to politics than I probably should, and playing video games (particularly RPGs, strategies, and various Nintendo games).
6. What are your favorite song lyrics? Please copy and paste them below.
This is impossible! I love a lot of different lyrics for many various reasons, but I guess I'll go with these:
Tell me that you're torn asunder
From how we fail to learn
And tell me
as the earth goes under
Where’s your anger now?
It summarizes so much to me.
7. Choose which one more suits you:
Optimistic or Pessimistic: Realistic? I usually consider both sides and state whichever is the most likely. I do often hope for the best, but acknowledge that it's unlikely and also come up with a back-up plan if the worst happens.
Dreamer or Realist: Ah, this is difficult. Almost everyone else considers me a realist due to how I'm usually aware of what is within the bounds of reality and tend to be more logical than some, but in truth, I dream a lot internally. I also don't think dreaming of the future is necessarily a negative, so long as it motivates you to aim towards those dreams or have some hope in this world.
Possessions or Ideals: Ideals. I do like having things (who doesn't, really), but possessions are fleeting, and I learned to not place too much value on them pretty early in life. On the other hand, ideals can motivate you forward, and even inspire others to work together for something better.
Leader or Follower: My preferred position? Second-in-command/the one influencing or advising the leader... but, that only works if I have some faith in the leader in the first place. More often than not, I end up leading naturally. Again, it's usually not intentional... it just sort of happens.
Light or Dark: Literally? The light is nice, and I especially love warm summer days! It's also difficult to see in the dark, which... *shot* I'm assuming you mean metaphorically, and in that case I must admit the dark appeals to me a bit more-- I don't believe in a sense of objective right and wrong, and usually when something is shunned for being "dark," I want nothing more but to learn more about it and decide for myself what it's like.
Intuition or Logic: I do have a pretty strong intuition which I've learned to trust over the years, but I tend to be bffs with logic.
Introverted or Extroverted: Introverted. I'm neither shy nor a loner, but I do like my alone time. (Yet, on the other hand, I do love to be around people I do appreciate, and I'm prone towards rambling if a topic that interests me is brought up.)
Calm or Chaos: Eh. "Chaotic" is not a word I'd associate with myself in many cases, but if interpreted a certain way... As stated above, I am calm, but I do think that sometimes chaos is necessary. Per example, questioning convention is sometimes seem as inspiring chaos, but I support doing so.
Secretive or Open: Secretive about my personal life, at least. I only open up that much to people who I've known for awhile and feel I can trust.
Mature or Immature: Mature.
8. What is your favorite animal? Why? Mountain goats. Seriously. As for why... They can be playful animals in a sense, but are stubborn, hardy, and sometimes a bit too overly confident when it comes to jumping abilities. I find them interesting in that sense.
... and for a more genetic answer-- I also like cats and dogs for predictable reasons. Who would have thought.
9. What is your ultimate dream to achieve?
In the most vague sense, to be successful and content.
10. Water, fire, earth, or air? Which do you believe you are most like, and why?
Earth or water. Earth because of how it's often portrayed as determined and stubborn to a large degree without being overly aggressive or angry in the same sense fire is.
Water for my more contradicting traits. I'm going to go a bit beyond the standard definitions here, but considering it's different forms... Water can be cold and harsh as ice, placid as the slowly turning waves, and helpful as steam. Overall, it's adaptable, which does fit rather well with how different I can act depending on who I'm around.
11. What is the greatest lesson you have learned?
Ah, not something I'm comfortable talking about here. I know this question is important, but... as I said above, I tend to secretive above such things, so.
12. What in life has proved to be the biggest challenge for you?
... *points to the previous response* I really don't feel like talking about it here.
13. What one word could describe you best? Complex? *shot again* I know that's a cop-out for "it's difficult to define an existence in one word," but shh.
14. What is your favorite season? Why? Autumn or summer. I love the brisk wind in autumn, as well as the general colors of the seasons... and randomly, the smell of apples. As for summer, I wasn't just joking when I said I love the summer heat above. There's something very comforting about the warmth of the sun, but I also find the powerful thunderstorms during summer fascinating.

15. What tarot card do you believe you are? No idea. That's for you all to decide. ;X
16. Optional Picture- URL, thumbnail; or description
17. Anything else you would like to add?
