and Sophie has learned more words and signs! Funny how little things can really affect you, I was missing her hourly 'daddy visits' to me when I'm hanging out on my computer or gaming with my geekpals, so it was really nice to have her dropping in and making me feel special. geting my chops back
been lazy with the guitar of late. I've kind of fallen into a rut of not cutting my chops, my fingertips too much cause it hurts for a day or so afterwards. The last couple of days I've been 'force' playing, grinding them and getting the callus's back. Hurts like hell, but the sound gets better the harder they get. grief and mourning
I think I've finally gotten over C's death. I don't think I've ever been more shocked in my life and I doubt that I will ever really be at grips with what happened, but at least it doesn't hurt as much. Fran and Sophie have really changed my life, and a much happier person than I was a few years ago. Still I have had real problems with writing ( Read more... ) -
empty house = lonely
Fran and Sophie are off to visit her grandmother in Alberta. It's been very quiet and odd in the house without them. Sophie being able to do stairs meant that she was showing up all the time to 'visit daddy' when I'm downstairs on my computer, and I've grown rather fond of a quick cuddle or maybe a visit for a few minutes before she demands to be ( Read more... ) -

What to say? Life if good. Work is OK, sometimes it gets boring, then other times its crazy busy. Typical I guess. Fran is a great mom, Sophie is growing bigger and meaner (she regularly jumps on my now and beats me up), she's also saying more words and singing songs she makes up (with cool rhythms and odd words). Well its been a while since I posted, I have to say my total dismay with how people voted nearly made me vomit. Greens; what a load of concentrated shit, they don't give a fat rats ass about the enviroment or they would not have run any candidates in this election when the Liberals are in the process of selling off our water rights and setting up ( Read more... ) -
what we are about to loose...
so far we've lost BC Rail, BC Ferries and BC Hydro all to private companies with little to no benefit to the public. Next it will be every free flowing river, the waterfront (due to oil spills), our healthcare system, our water (since private companies will own the river flow they will be able to dictate where it goes...think about it ( Read more... ) -
