The circle of life

It's day 7 and no sign of Gerbils. We're (Chris and I) pretty sure he's no longer alive. THere has been absolutely NO sign of him since the night after he escaped. We put out apple slices last night all over the house to give him some incentive to come out of hiding and nibble on them. Not a single one of them was touched. =( I am very sad

it's really been 5 weeks since you got the little fella? where have i been?

i'm sure he's fine... maybe he escaped into the big bad world while all the kids were leaving the house, or when i attempt to gracefully enter with all my crap in the morning.

No, he's still back there. I hope, anyway. Chris left the damn door open to the laundry room. I think he's under some clothes that have fallen behind the dryer. We'll try fishing him out after I get done working.

At least we know he's a survivor and is still alive. =)
