think of it this way...youre going to be in the most densely populated town in the entire city (sure the population is small, but the land isn't that big - whereas my city has an even smaller population and 3x the land size)

as for weather, i think it's pretty much the same as a lot of japan at the moment...maybe only a tad colder. my area has been around the same temperature as well (well, 3 degrees higher on some days)

i'm sure you'll be fine!!! there's also probably a more easily accessible "biggish" city to have fun at closer than tokyo!!! and i will visit and we can go to an onsen and maybe skiing too haha
