I only read the headline, and I'm sick to my stomach. My stepfather went to school there, and the only reason he was able to go was because he was a Vietnam vet. His parents were Holocaust survivors, so he served two tours of duty in Vietnam because he believed in democracy.

I'm disgusted.

Reality to Berkeley: the freedom of speech you're using to abuse didn't grow on trees.

I can see both sides on this one. If you don’t want to be in the armed forces don’t join. And if they instituted a Draft again I would demonstrate against that

I agree with a lot of what you said. The parts I disagree with are pretty minor and more discussion than debate.

I just hate protesters who are stupid. They don't understand what they are protesting and why. If they really were concerned, they would take actions that made a difference rather than thrash against the people who are working for their freedom and for their way of life. The military is an unfortunate necessity and we need to accept and, more importantly, understand that. The choices our government makes and how they use the military.. now that's something to protest about.

If they want to protest the war, protest the war. Not the men and women who are serving.

I'm angry because they are stupid and they are causing pain rather than making change happen.
