I had planned on making a post right now bringing everyone up to date on the happenings of my life. For those who follow me on FB know that I had surgery on Tuesday to have my tonsils removed, as well as my deviated septum fixed. Well I'm up right now because I was almost an hr and a half late on my pain meds, and am paying dearly for it now. I'm

I practice "field medicine", the stuff to keep you alive until I can pawn you off to someone else at a hospital, so, 'long term' skills aren't my area of expertise. However, one thing we stress to people is to do like you're trying to do. Take pain meds on a schedule. Don't necessarily take "as needed". Pills don't offer immediate relief.

Enjoy the daze and stay doped up until your body tells you its better (it will let you know)

Thank you! It took over a week to feel normal, and even right now I'm still not 100%. I've also picked up some horrible bruises while in the hospital that aren't healed yet, so I think I'm just a slow healer in general.

I've been back at work since Monday, and I'm just glad its all behind me.
