Is there anyone still out there in LJ land? I do still read my friend's list, even if its dwindled down significantly. I know when Facebook came out things started to taper down, and recently I've heard something about LJ being sold to a Russian company? So I'm not quite sure how that affects LJ, so I'm curious if anyone knows anything about that

So, yeah, I'm still here, even though my last post was over 6 months ago. I've got a world of intention to post, but just don't seem to.
It's not that there's anything drastic going on, I just haven't posted.
I am happy to have seen you here, and *plan* on posting more. I do have a few in drafts mode that I have yet to finish.
As for the Russian sale, I think it may be the second of such things. Pretty sure LJ was sold maybe 3-5 years ago in the same scenario. No change that I've noticed, no fees or any unnecessary emails. There are regular "updates" which, as far as I can tell, make no difference to the end user.
As for me in general, nothing major going on. Working my shifts & taking life as it comes. Other than that, life is as is. Not bad, not great, just sort of one day at a time.
Congrats on the year and a half!
