On the thoughtful suggestion of a friend, I am timidly discovering the world of Jeff Buckley... MY GOD... thank you so much for the suggestion.. this man is amazing, and yes i do find comfort in his music and its scary how similar we can be sometimes.. Why can't I meet anyone like this? Anyone like me? Why? Marianna, please tell me how Jeff died? I

You will really love reading Dream Brother. I loved that book so much and it really brings you close to Jeff. Silly thing is, even though I already know he's dead, it still got me when reading about it.

Ok... So I think I have it straight now... Jeff accidently overdosed a few years ago.. I remember reading about that now.. I couldn't remember if he was the Buckley that drowned, or the Buckley that OD'ed. Now I know. Disheartening to say the least. I have to get more of his music into my brain before I read the book, but again, all of your suggestions are appreciated.

Thats what I thought too, but apparently that was TIM Buckley. Jeff Buckley Od'ed on something or another after being clean for a while and hanging out with friends who didn't realize his tolerance level for whatever drugs he was doing had gone WAY done from before. This according to Marianna.. who seems to know a lot about this man and his music/life/etc. Hey, she read the book. Can't argue with someone who has read the BOOK. :)
