I thought about copying and pasting Lara's entire last entry describing this weekend (or her favorite parts) but instead of cluttering everyone's friends pages, I'll just point you in the direction of her journal instead. Or simply look on my friends page while its still there.. (sigh) What did I do to deserve all this rain? Its like being in South ( Read more... )

You're sweet, I'm glad you enjoy having me in your life (even if its just on livejournal).. There's so many people that DID have me in their lives and they couldn't have pushed me away any harder if I'd been radioactive and dripping with toxic death. :D Thanks again for caring, I'll keep up the journal as long as people like you give a care. :x

*siiiiiiiiiiiiiigh*

almost makes me want to live in a trailor again...

but a house with a tin roof would be far better i think ;) i adore the sound of rain on the roof... rain as its just starting to come down... plink..... plink.. plink. plink plinkplinkplink and then it just becomes this wonderful pounding watery sound that i couldnt hope to describe... that sound that makes me love waterfalls as well...

speaking of water... we need a water fountain in our next place... thats first on the list of must-haves, before a new coffee machine even, lol ;)

I Love You :x

I know what you mean about the sound... even as we sit and talk about how gorgeous it is this morning... bright, sunny, shadowy, green, all the crazy descriptions we've found... of course you see a faerie tale.. i see a 1950's ViewMaster reel of an orchard or something... bright colorful film stock, the likes of which we'll never see again in this "digital age" of bland, fuzzy, pixely sick looking digital photography. It is a beautiful day.. And we shall have a fountain in every room someday.. And one outside.. :) I am not incapable of providing for us, as I've proven before. When my heart is in it, I'm willing to do what I have to to get what I want.. I want a happy life with you, and many beautiful trees and scenery to surround us.. Lots of water, in any and every form... :) I Love You

Hey, you know, I'm really glad I told you about Jeff Buckley because I can't think of too many people around here who would have an appreciation for some of his really good work. There's a lot of him all over the place. He did a lot of covers, and they are very damn beautiful. He used his voice as the best instrument he ever played. I have the DVD from a show in Chicago. I think you would be doing well to invest in it sometime in the future. My boyfriend was the one who first sent me the "Grace" album. He then let me borrow Dream Brother and I felt even closer to Jeff. It gave me a deeper appreciation for his work.

Have fun scavenging around for him. I've got an mp3 of him reciting Ulalume.

Ok, I did have a good reply to your comment but my explorer is being an ass and caused it to never be, and I pretty much said all of it to you in IM form anyway... but yeh, I'm really glad you turned me on to him, and I am having fun scavenging for more stuff.. I tend to get annoyed at the chatty audiences and bad sound in all the live recordings floating around kazaa, but his studio stuff is superb..and yes I did manage to turn 2 more ppl onto him that very night, so I'm good like that. :)

(waves at the tiny, brooding little Jeff in your user pic)
(KNEW that was him! :p )

I must not have a much of a life, but I don't care... surreal_visions April 28 2004, 06:30:21 UTC
I don't care what others think of me. Steve, the way you word things is so beautiful! Like spring, I love it, but it hates me as so does the rain. Thankfully I have the appreciation of a tin roof and can hear that beautiful sound. I know sometimes is sux when it rains, but in all honesty...the earth needed it. Plus, it rained enough to get some of the pollen out of the air. You asked me to comment, so I am. I just hope you remember the conversation we had on 4-28-04 at like 2am! You do have friends, & as I said before, I'm as true of one you could ever find! Hope your day is better today.

Thanks for reading and commenting! You really did get my mind off of things and though I am forgetful as I said, I won't forget that.. I mean, its kinda set in stone here in the journal.. if I can keep the journal up for more than a week at a time without other people going apeshit over the things I say. You're pretty cool and a good person, glad to have met you (again and again and again) lol
