The public library is on the same block as my apartment, so we finally took advantage of it and stopped in to see if any better jobs were available (which they are, believe me, ours sucks) and I've wanted to get a library card for a while anyway.. Life in the `Boro is pretty cool so far... The last week or so has been spent mostly working a shitty job that neither I nor Mat want to keep or even go to, but I've tried my best, gotten burned many times, and had to spend most of my first check on expenses like a hat, shirt, food, etc. I couldn't care less about that job.. Hunter S. Thompson shot himself to death.. The end of Gonzo journalism as we know it. I don't know what to say.. I just woke Lara up to tell her because it hit me so hard.
