[The young-looking vampire's skin is like marble, but he had the forethought of only having one candle lit while recording this, so it will take a sharp eye to notice that he is rather unnaturally white beyond the orange glow tinting the whole scene.

Those that notice might realize his next statement being the reason he hasn't hunted.] I have ( Read more... )

I'm not sure asking questions does much.

A lack of an answer can also be telling, if the right questions are asked. As long as they have said something to someone, it gives information.

There was a meeting with the scientists, some years ago.

Armand, I'm not sure if attacking those who can change the world with a mere thought is a wise idea.

[Oh, Lestat, you make him laugh. He really can't help it. For Lestat, of all people, to say that it is a bad idea.... He tries to respond but just bursts out laughing again.]

What exactly is so funny, Armand?

[ This face. Maybe... ]

Akasha was hardly as powerful as the Animus.

Akasha! [He laughs a bit again,] No, I am not talking about Akasha.

I'm older than the Armand you know, Lestat. Perhaps not many years, but you've done quite a bit more than take down the vampire Queen. You've yet to realize your own capacity for insolence.

Why would anyone attack the Animus?

[Sure it sucks to be screwed with all the time, but she can't imagine that attacking spirits/gods would do them much good.]

Fury, stupidity, confidence, even pride.

And...you promise you're not thinking of attacking them yourself?

I can promise that you will have forewarning if I do ever decide to attack.

Maybe you could start by reading this [She sends her report as an attachment. Except for the encrypted parts, it's a report that she publicly made available to all Adstringers one month ago.] and then contact me back if you have further questions or suggestions.

What is the nature of the deals made with those Animus?

I'm rather surprised to hear some are benevolent.

It varies from one person to another. It's help or a favor most of the time.

Some of them seem ready to work with us at least.

That is something.

Not much, but something.

What would be the point in asking questions?

[audio] eternally17 December 28 2011, 23:11:51 UTC
To learn more about them. Try to find if there is any pattern in what they do.

Yeah, like they're totally going to answer!

We should just amass an army and break in.

I said to someone before, that a lack of an answers could be telling as well if they have ever answered anything before. And it seems they have.

I think that, if we collect those that have abilities beyond what is typically human there is a possibility we may manage something. I will not be rash though, and rush before I know what I am getting into.
