i really really enjoyed this. don't worry about OOC-ness...IMO you're keeping right up with the original with quite a lot of discipline. love the dialogue lots! hibari makes me laugh like every few seconds even without trying<333 and how mukuro keeps wanting to laugh himself to death even though he's already at death's door is just pure hilarious! i'm also very grateful that you did kusakabe enough justice even for his minor appearance.

that saying, chancing upon a het fic in this fandom sure is kinda rare!

Ahahaha, I'm actually a yaoi shipper, for all I keep writing het stuff lately. I really wouldn't have even thought of this pairing if Rune hadn't requested it of me. ^^;;

Ah, that said, though, I'm glad that even for it not being my forte, it turned out alright. Of course, uh, there is about 15,000 words more of it after this...in case you were wondering why the hell this part cut off so abruptly. *FAIL*

H-HOLY HELL. I just read this fic in its EPIC ENTIRETY and let me just say that you have broken my braaaaaaain~♥ I m-mean, HIBARI/CHROME?! COME ON!!! I had a bit of an 'ooh!' feeling when Kyou-chi (XDD) did his whole violent get-up-already shebang in recent chapters but other than that? I am just not equipped to appreciate het, unless it's exceptionally well-written. AND YOU, MY PRETTY, ARE EXCEPTIONAL. You made me care, damn you. *shakes fist* And incoherent, but that's not really new. --;

In conclusion, ILUMUCHLY. I had NO IDEA you wrote. WHY DO YOU EVEN READ MY FICS?! *quails in mediocrity*

I forgot to mention that I commented on this first section because it's my favourite; all three are excellent but I happen to like this one best. I prefer character instrospection to action, and the slower pace of this one while you set everything up allows me to appreciate it more, I think.

Also, you really got Mukuro down. His character, I mean. And I've never seen Chrome or Hibari written in the way that you have them (as independent or as ruthless, respectively). It's really hard to find work that hasn't already been done before. *showers you with luff*
