Aaaaaaaargh.  My road trip today - I drove into the suburbs.  It was so stressful.  I am one of those irritating people who never leave the city and just kind of consider everything east of Main to be the hinterlands.  The drive was supposed to take an hour, but it took me five hours, due to my inability to read a map while driving.

I think so! Sadly, he is in Montreal and we only speak on the phone (I work in a call center and he's in another department) but I am told he's a looker. TENSE.

They have nice hot springs in Colorado Springs. And skiing, but obviously only in winter.

The fandom code-word is "fiddlesticks", someone tried to introduce it a coupld of years ago. If you're talking to someone you think might be a closet slasher, "fiddlesticks" is the super-secret password, apparently, like gang handshakes. Or something.

fiddlesticks: awesome. I have needed something like this for a while now. I'm always so suspicious - hanging around fandom for so long makes me believe that everyone writes gay porn about their favourite shows in their offtime.
