Uwah, such a pleasant festival, and everyone looked so charming! Ranmaru admired all who were there..

What is this Valentine's Day that all do speak of? Another day of planting trees with light?

You were at the festival, Ranmaru? I'm sorry I didn't see you, then.

Valentine's Day is traditionally celebrated between loved ones, as I recall. It's somewhat similar to Christmas, in that people give one another presents, but these are usually tokens of affection-- sweets, flowers, and romantic missives. Friends can and do give one another gifts, as well, and even those with unrequited feelings may choose to give anonymous presents.

It's quite the excuse for extravagance, for some, but things being as they are, I suppose the simpler gestures may mean more in the end.

...I apologize for rambling. Have you been well?

If you like, Ranmaru might've seen Saix and Vexen waltzing around arm in arm at the festival, whut!]

I-It's alright, Vexen-sama! Ranmaru thought it'd be best if you were undisturbed, a-after all, Saix-sama and you were so cosy together enjoying yourelves!

Ah. So long as you enjoyed yourself, then.

[ooc: Vexen's hoping Ranmaru hasn't seen him getting fish-smacked across the face, either.]

You're thinking of Christmas, aren't you? Valentine's Day is a little different. People give out cards like these to their loved ones.

It's a rather nice holiday, if a little grownup-like.

They're angels, I believe. Cherubs, or some such other. There are seraphim, too, but they're different, and to be completely honest they all have wings and I can't really tell them apart.

Oh, so you're from someplace different? What country do you hail from?

O-Oh! Are they? How curious! This person has never seen angels like that before!

Th-This person is from Nippon! And where are you from, my Lady?
