Just watched the movie and, well, I just don't get it.  I love it (especially the parts when Yamapi gives the cops the finger.  The deadpan delivery is priceless.)  But seriously, what the heck is with the plot?  Watanuki?  Mikimoto?  Wtf?  And the interspersed moral crises and confrontations with Katsuragi...gah, it makes no sense!  Every time I

I watched it raw at the cinema, gave up on trying to figure it out about half-way through and just enjoyed the novelty of watching Yamapi's pretty, expressionless face on the big screen. I think the whole movie was just an excuse to say "Et tu, Bruté" as often as possible, personally, because Katsuragi obviously has a lot of fun saying it. One day I will watch the movie with subs and see if it makes more sense.

It doesn't. It makes no sense. Especially the "Et tu, Brute." It's like someone tore the script in half and decided to make just that into a movie. There's no resolution at all, and it's really bugging me. But Yamapi's still gorgeous in it. (And the obscene hand gestures are still win.)
