Am I the only one who liked Code Blue? (+ a meme!)
So seriously, am I? I know it was all "Oh the healing hands of Yamapi," complete with holy light and the hallelujah chorus, but I really got into it. Maybe it was the medicine? (It is a sad day when I watch a drama because of the field I'm in. D8) I really liked Aragaki Yui (well, until what they did to her towards the end...that just sucked) and Toda Erika - and the geeky kid, whatever his name was. And Aizawa (Pi's character) has a breakdown bit that actually made me tear up, which is highly unusual for me. I don't know, am I just digging it because it was a j-drama that casted an idol I like to watch in a role that wasn't crack? I like my shows with a little meat to them (ehem, Kurosagi, I'm looking at you), which is why I think I loathed Yukan Club so much.
Anyway, so Kurosagi and Code Blue set me off on a Yamapi kick that lasted till about 6 am this morning, which was when I found out he's dating a model. Again. And that for all his hard-working, modest, mature qualities, he's still just a 23-year-old guy who wants a hot girl with big boobs. Honestly, as a girl with fairly sizeable ones herself, I'd like to tell JE boys this: MOVE ON. You'd think after being surrounded by beauty all their lives, some of these boys would learn to see past that into the soul beneath. But I guess that would presume that any of them had souls left, which, judging by the lifelessness of Jin/Kame/Pi's eyes, they don't. Whatever. Sometimes the base nature of humans really brings out the cynic in me. Then again, I'm a total sucker for a pretty face myself, so I guess I'm not any better? I don't know. *shrugs*
Still, I'm actually fairly happy about all that - it staved off a burgeoning Yamapi obsession that I very much did not want. So yeah. =D Plus, I got back into some JE happenings, which is always nice. Still need to catch up on KT things, but that will have to wait til I have the stamina to wade through the cesspool that is kattunlove . (So possibly not for another 2 years, haha!)
