Today is May 15th, which marks 60 years since the Palestinian Nakbah. For those of you who don't know the Nakbah is the dispossession of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from there homes by Israeli militants in 1948, not to return even 60 years later. Today there was no classes and the University went out to participate in the protest marches

Its so sad, how people forget that others suffer at other costs. And whats more sad it that they keep there keys to there old houses hoping and praying that one day they'll come back to them :( those people who live outside the Palestinian borders, those people who do not have a home. And have never felt at home. My mother was telling me this story she heard about a girl (7 at age) who is now 67, she remembers being carried away from her mother because they had to leave and her mother because of her health could not move. So she had to leave her behind. God so many sad stories.
