as for louis's death, i sort of wanted to leave it up to the reader how they want to interpret it, come up with their own conclusions just like if harry's actually seeing a ghost or not ever since it happened

sigh. sadness. so much sadness. i particularly liked the way the timeline jumped around - despite this happening, it wasn't difficult or confusing to understand the order of events. however, it did just make the story that much more sadder :(

When he gets closer, everything’s gone but his lips floating in the air, still mouthing to Harry and he’s trying hard to riddle it out, follows every curve, every shape until it’s clear to him, so clear he can almost hear it.

gosh, that part broke me.
whenever moments like that happen in fic, i want to beat my fists against the wall and say no, he can't move on! they're meant to be together... (a sign that this is an OTP to end all OTPs)

“I love you and that’s all that matters.”

Louis fixes his eyes on Harry’s and looks at him for a long time before smiling and running a finger through his hair.

“I love you too.”

The sliver of hope is like broken glass lodged in his chest-he wants to pull it out and let the blood spill so he can stop dwelling in what can be and move on but it hurts, hurts like hell when he wraps his fingers around it and he ends up leaving it alone until it festers and spreads, fills his head with images both real and imaginary and he just wants it all to stop.

i'm really sensitive to lou/haz death fics because i always feel like the significant other is losing the lover/and the best friend & the idea that louis is a fan is really intriguing because there wouldn't be a huge national grief seeing louis is not famous. it's harry's own personal private pain, just like it was harry's own personal private louis. i really loved that, and this whole thing, even though it was sad. thank you always for writing <3
