Why why why am I tagging with Alucard in a language I don't even know? Babelfish is so awful it hurts...but I just can't stop. XD

Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is he heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Kaiba’s really skinny and tall. He’s six foot one and 143 pounds, which is underweight for someone of his height, but not quite anorexic yet. Not only is he thin, he’s lanky, with most of his height made up in leg. His shoulders are comparatively narrow, even though he does extend them with the use of some clever tailoring in his coats. He’s a little more built than he used to be, though, thanks to body swapping with Zack.
2. How old is he?
He just turned 19 in October.
3. Describe his posture. Does he carry himself well or does he slouch?
Slouching would not have been tolerated in the Kaiba household. He sits and stands up straight as a board , using all of his height to intimidate people.
4. How is his health? Is he fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
He’s actually fairly fit, even with how skinny he is. He can run for an extended period of time, and climb cliff faces with a briefcase in his hand. Also considering his sleep schedule, he’s pretty resilient to disease, and injury doesn’t bother him due to pretty constant exposure to pain in his childhood. His body is completely whole, with no sensory problems. He’s not the strongest guy around, but he’s more physical than you would think.
5. How does he move? Is he clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Kaiba does not move unnecessarily. He moves forcefully and with purpose, everything just screaming ‘I am better than you, pay attention to me’. He also must move in a way to get those coats to flare the way they do. Or it’s lots of starch. Either one. Yeah, he moves well.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does he perceive himself in the mirror?
He’s pretty due to his coloring and his physique but intense, and he certainly doesn’t really notice whether he’s attractive. He’s pretty much been drilled that stuff like that isn’t important, beyond looking professional.
7. Describe his complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
He’s pale, mainly because he spends most of his time on the computer. Also, he tends to wear a lot of concealing clothing, usually dress shirts or high necked shirts covered by the ubiquitous trench coat or business suit, so he’s pale underneath too. He’s got old scars, mostly long ones on his back from a riding crop, and a few hard to notice burn scars on his upper arms. It is nothing that is intended to be seen in business attire. They were made that way purposefully.
8. Describe his hair: color, texture, style.
Kaiba’s hair is a rich brown, with a little red in it depending on the light. He keeps it combed down, but considering what his brother looks like and how thick it is, it has the potential to get quite fluffy if disturbed. His style is affected by how thick his hair is, as well as its almost shoulder length. He’s combed it down and put in a little gel to keep it professional looking, but you cannot avoid noticing that yes, it is a mullet.
9. What color are his eyes?
Blue. They’re probably his most noticeable feature.
10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Other than his height and his eye color, you would probably notice his intensity. When he stares at you, it is scary. People notice his eyes just because they are that intense.
11. What are his chief tension centers?
His mouth, his eyes, and his hands. When he’s irritated, his eyes will narrow, and he has the tendency to snarl. Kaiba’s also very expressive with his hands, a consequence of being in a series based on playing a children’s card game. He points, gestures, and often clenches his hands when he’s upset or raging.
12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does he have six of the same suit?
Trenchcoats, trenchcoats, trenchcoats. He’s trying to be as flashy and dramatic as possible. On Salkia, he has his white pimped out one with the popped collar, his plain blue one from Duelist Kingdom, and his purple suit coat. Underneath, he keeps it very quiet, usually a black turtleneck, KaibaCorp heavy belt, black slacks, and heeled black thigh high boots. Over the sleeves and boots, he wears two smaller blue belts, one set on each limb. His lower arms each have a metallic bracer covering them, reminiscent of the gold armbands he wore in his past life in Egypt. He also has business suits, mainly white with a blue tie and lighter blue shirt. His tuxedo, left from the masquerade ball, is also white. Currently, he has even kept his white tie black outfit, though it has not been worn. He has dragon cufflinks to go with them. No matter what he’s wearing, he always has a large locket shaped like a Duel Monsters card around his neck. It contains a picture of his brother, as well as his KaibaCorp Keycard.
13. Do his clothes fit well? Does he seem comfortable in them?
They are tailored to him exactly. Just look at how those trenchcoats hug his hips. He seems very comfortable in them, considering they stay the same through all sorts of drama. He can also ride a motorcycle with that coat flare.
14. Does he dress the same on the job as he does in his free time? If not, what are the differences?
He wears his white suits for business, or more stylized, formal coats like the purple one or another white coat with blue accents, matching a pair of white pants.
15. You knew it was coming: Boxers, briefs or commando?
Plain navy blue boxers. He’s boring. Though Mokuba did get him a pair of boxers with the Blue eyes White Dragon on them, not that he’s ever worn them.

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
His voice, while not having the power of DAN GREEN, is pretty deep.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate?
He’s usually pretty forceful when he speaks, though he doesn’t get loud unless he gets angry. Then he yells. Other than that, he actually doesn’t speak unless he feels like he needs to. That said, if he feels like he needs to, he will not hesitate. His laugh gets pretty harsh though, but usually he’s laughing at someone when he does it.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
He speaks very arrogantly in Japanese. No honorifics, no last names, no polite ways of referring to himself. Just ‘ore’ this and ‘ore’ that, and referring to himself in the third person occasionally. Also, he tends to grunt a lot, when he doesn’t feel like responding. ‘Hn,” and “Tch” are his usual wordless responses.
4. What language/s does he speak, and with how much fluency?
He tries to speak the language or at least have some understanding of it anywhere he does business. He’s fluent in Japanese, English, Mandarin Chinese and German. He has some background in French, Italian, Korean, Spanish, and Cantonese Chinese. He’s working on his Wutian, and on deciphering Jing’s native tongue as well. Plus, I almost forgot, he can read Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Yes, that is canon.
5. Does he switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Only when he wants to keep something from being understood, or he’s talking to a native speaker.
6. Is he a good impromptu speaker, or does he have to think about his words?
He thinks about everything he says, mainly because of the impact on his business if he says the wrong thing. That said, all bets are off when he flies into a rage.
7. Is he eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
He’s very eloquent, often playing games with words and the meanings of them with Jing, Cissnei, or anyone else who seems worth his time. Even when he’s angry, he tailors his words to hit as hard as possible, and usually succeeds. It is a product of his upbringing, where one could not speak badly in the Kaiba household.

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart?
Mostly book smart, but as the youngest CEO in the world he has had to constantly outmaneuver people who play very dirty, not to mention his own stepfather. His time in the orphanage and his struggles have developed a good street sense in him as well. Generally, he is very intelligent.
2. Does he think on his feet, or does he need time to deliberate?
He thinks on his feet, though he’d rather plan ahead whenever possible. In Duel Monsters, you have to play your strategy to your opponent, no matter how well built your deck is beforehand. Kaiba is known to be particularly good at it. Again, constantly having to outmaneuver older more well intrenched businessmen developed this skill.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
He’s very practical, and very logical. If he doesn’t see it or can’t make a mathematical formula or a computer program to calculate it, it doesn’t exist. That said..he’s getting better at accepting magic, at least the ancient Egyptian kind, mostly because he has seen it in action.
4. What kind of education has the character had?
Mostly intensive private tutoring focusing in math, the sciences, engineering, and computer programming. After his adopted father’s death, he enrolled himself in a public high school, even though he had moved far beyond the high school level. The Government has required him to earn a high school degree to keep custody of Mokuba, even though he is a minor until age 21 in Japan.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about?
He’s a genius programmer and hacker, and good with mechanics as well. When he was young, his stepfather tricked him into making military grade weaponry which was sold as KaibaCorp products. Now he builds his own holographic projectors and gaming rigs, including a virtual reality simulator. He will probably continue to focus on his hacking and mechanics skills.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert?
Very much an introvert. He was taught to treat everyone as a potential enemy, and that emotions were a weakness. Talking to people was not allowed unless there was something to be gained. Kaiba does have feelings, but he buries them to the point that he can ignore them completely, and he certainly doesn’t talk about his past.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
He can swing from cool and almost emotionless to rage very quickly, especially if you hit one of his hot buttons. He is ambitious and driven, always moving on to the next new thing. His patience and tolerance for people is very low.
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
Suspicious. Everyone is an enemy in his mind, and he reacts so.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react?
Act. Kaiba Seto does not wait for something he wants to happen.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight?
He fights almost exclusively. Running is giving up, giving up is losing, and losing is death. Even in his dueling, his favorite monsters are thrown out with little to defend them. He has lost a game because he would not put his Dragon in defense mode.
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
He enjoys schadenfreude, or laughing at other people’s misfortune, and does have a very dark and critical sense of humor. He’s not likely to laugh at a specific joke though.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them?
As an abused child, he probably has some form of post-traumatic stress disorder, as well as a superiority complex and Narcissistic personality disorder out the wazoo. None of them have been diagnosed, none of them ever will, and almost all of it can be traced back to his stepfather.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person?
Keeping it strictly to Salkia, coming to the Island in the first place, and probably kissing then losing Yami. Canon stuff…you can look up for yourself.
14. What does he fear?
Losing Mokuba. That’s pretty much it.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations?
He wants to provide Mokuba the life he thinks he deserves. Plenty of money, a house, a chance to grow up normally, and a chance to have a normal family. In the long run, he wants his KaibaLand parks built all around the world so that every kid, no matter where they come from, can have a place to go and have fun. He also wants to atone for the deaths that the weapons he designed caused.
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him?
His past. The fact that he is not as heartless as he seems in certain situations. The fact that yes he was in love with his rival for a period of time. All of the Egyptian reincarnation stuff. The fact that he used to design weapons. Lots of things.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents.
Not much of one. He vaguely remembers loving his mother, but they died when he was about five. He hated his stepfather, but still absorbed almost all of his lessons.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Just his little brother, and Mokuba is his world. Without him, it’s unlikely Seto would have kept going to this point.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand?
His only remaining blood relatives are the Aunts and Uncles who stole his inheritance from his birth family and sent both boys to the orphanage. Kaiba has no contact with them, doesn’t acknowledge he’s related to them, and if they ever came to the mansion, he would probably shoot them.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them?
If Gozaburo’s son Noa had survived, Kaiba might have considered including him.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
He refuses friendship. Everyone is an enemy.
6. Does he have other close friends?
Cissnei probably comes the closest, though even she would be called more of an acquaintance than anything else. He doesn’t believe in unequivocal friendship, and always expects there to be a catch involved.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people?
He doesn’t even try to get along with people.
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends?
Family, specifically Mokuba.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once?
Single and probably will remain so permanently.
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
No.
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest?
He did have feelings for Yami while he was here, but is now feeling rather betrayed and hurt without really comprehending what it is he’s feeling. He’s not good with romantic relationships. As of now, he’s only really thinking about getting off the island.
12. What does he look for in a romantic partner?
He doesn’t ‘look for’ anything, but he handles people who are practical and straightforward better. Someone who can challenge him would be nice.
13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does he relate to them? If no, does he want any?
No, no, and no. He fully expects his line to continue with Mokuba, not himself.
14. Does he have any rivals or enemies?
Oh does he. His main rival is Yami, definitely. His enemies are diverse, but on Salkia they include the Spirit of the Ring (Bakura) and Jing, mainly. Pegasus isn’t really quite an enemy yet.
15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does he fall on the Kinsey scale?
Kaiba is pretty much asexual with exceptions. He doesn’t really think about sex, doesn’t crush on people, doesn’t notice attractiveness on his own. But if somebody gets in his face often enough, or catches his notice, it’s possible. Kaiba focuses more on the brains of the person, not their gender or their looks.
16. How does he feel about sex? How important is it to him?
Not important at all, except as a tool. I think he would be willing to sleep with someone for KaibaCorp or his brother’s life, if the situation were dire enough. But it rarely means anything to him, not that he’s ever had it.
17. What are his turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
Binary. Uh, he’s a virgin, so it’s hard to say. Stupidity and people fawing over him are definite turn offs.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type?
He’s a Scorpio and and fits pretty well to type. He’s very determined, very stubborn, and very intense, even when he’s trying to be cool and emotionless. He is also disdainful of help from others. The only thing he is not is easily hurt or sensitive to his emotions. Perhaps when he was much younger, but certainly not now.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life?
Not at all. Kaiba believes very strongly in man controlling his own destiny. Also, he’s never seen or calculated a God, so it doesn’t exist.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Kaiba protects Mokuba, and would never deliberately physically harm a child. He also has a strong sense of honor about debt, since he fully expects unpaid debt to be held over his head if he doesn’t deal with it right away. Pretty much a threat to Mokuba could compromise it, but that’s about it.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
He has a very low tolerance of any beliefs at all, especially when they’re being described in his presence. Yes, Aerith, talking to the Island kind of irritates him.
5. What prejudices does he hold? Are they irrational or does he have a good reason for them?
Other than his hatred of people in general? Not much. He was the youngest CEO ever. If you can do the job, he doesn’t care what you are. Doing the job to his satisfaction is the difficult part, however.

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is he rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
He’s a multimillionare at home, and pretty well off on Salkia too. He works all the time and barely spends his money, so he’s got a good bit stashed away.
2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him?
He’s changed quite a bit, from orphan to heir to CEO and back to normal person on Salkia. The jump from orphan to heir affected him a little, but coming to Salkia certainly didn’t dim any of Kaiba’s arrogance. He’s always known how to take care of himself, so that’s not a problem either.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others?
He lives in House 7, with Madam Red when she’s there. It’s neat enough, but he doesn’t spend much time there either, since he barely sleeps. The Arcade is really where he hangs around the most.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on?
Coffee, computer parts, big things. He barely spends much on food.
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else?
He makes games and gaming paraphernalia, specifically high technology items. On Salkia, he basically runs and maintains the mall arcade, doing modifications to the machines in his spare time. He’d certainly rather be home to properly design games again, but the arcade is suitable for the time being. He plans on making it a KaibaLand Arcade at some point.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time?
Work. Making plans for escape. He’ll read or sit with his brother every so often. Sometimes he’ll working on his Duel Disk, or go out into the woods and shoot things.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
He eats very little, another consequence of his stepfather’s training. When he does eat, his favorite food is beef fillet, and his least favorite is oden. He’ll drink alcohol on occasion, usually to make a business deal.
