Went to church this Easter morning, which was a nice service. Then I went to my favorite pizza place for lunch (Mellow Mushroom, in case anyone runs into one

Yeah, but which one? I'm looking around on Amazon, since they have pretty good prices. Some considerations: Shadowrun "Unwired" supplement, Cthulhutech, and the Serenity RPG. Another consideration would be Exalted supplements, since Adam's taking a decent size of the OSG's Exalted library when he leaves...
I kinda prefer just buying the core rulebooks for a game; I'd rather come up with my own stuff instead of buying supplements; I just need the rules.
No need to buy Exalted supplements; I'm only missing four (I think), and I'll be buying those with money made over the summer.
Serenity looked pretty cool in the store, but I don't know if it would ever get past a oneshot in OSG. Cthulhu and Shadowrun, on the otherhand, both seemed pretty popular and promising for full campaigns.
If you want to check out some completely different games, I can give you some free PDFs (completely legally, too) of older games like Seventh Sea.
ooh, I'll have to look at the PDFs you have. I have a few as well, if you're interested.
And I think I'm going with "CthulhuTech". I've been looking at it for a couple of months, and Amazon has a pretty good price. I think I'm also getting Dr. Horrible and Serenity (the movie) in the order too ^^
Ooh, I'll be wandering around Raleigh tomorrow between dropping my brother off at the airport and catching my own flight, and I think that overlaps with lunch... maybe I can convince my mom to go to the Mellow Mushroom and try it out XD
Also, congrats on getting the family started on Joss Whedon's goodness! My dad was already awesome and had seen Firefly when it was on TV, but I'm still not sure if he's seen Dr. Horrible yet...
That stinks :( Maybe you can use the excuse of "Oh, but Catie's parents think it's fine, they even like it!" XD
And unfortunately, no Mellow Mushroom for me tomorrow; it's too far from the airport (where I'd be coming from). I am, however, going to Chick-Fil-A which makes me very, very happy.
Same... I've been stalking LJ when I should be packing and stuff. But this is more fun >__> (And as I write this, my mom just came by and peeked in my room, only to walk back down the hallway saying, "No, she's not packing; she's on her computer. Her stuff's just lying everywhere.")

And it's kinda cool when my posts have longer comment threads than the journals that LJ advertises on their main page ^^
