Believeing in EVERYTHING
seems to carry the same penalties
as believeing in NOTHING.

But it gives life to HOPE.

To believe or not believe in anything will carry penalties... I think it is a matter of what penalties you can live with. I would rather believe than not.

I really don't agree. To believe in everything is ALSO to believe in nothing, thus it does carry some of the same penalties, but also at the same time it's wildly different. The penalty of believing in nothing is to have a cold outlook on life, that nothing matters and that no matter what you do you'll just wind up a decaying mass of flesh that will feed the things that live in the deep secrets of the earth. One who believes in nothing becomes calculated and distant, though unsure why because why does it matter ( ... )
