Each last step in one direction leads to a first step in another. I like this one, I may just keep it to remind me of why I am doing what I am doing. My learning has always been self guided, jumping area's and different ideas of consciousness. I will look up your authors and see where they lead me. May you find the peace of mind you are looking for.
Thank You. It is not peace of mind that I am looking for. There has always been enough of that, even in the worst of times, to keep me from going too far over the edge. It is more simply, what I should be (want to be?) doing with the rest of my life. For the first sixty years, that seemed clear enough to satisfy, at least much of the time. Since, it has seemed a struggle between two powerful forces, inertia and change. It's not so bad if you know where you have been. Just a matter of going back to the last point where I felt comfortable and knew what I was doing and starting forward again. Been doing this on and of to a greater or lesser degree all my life. It's that at my age, I feel a greater sense of urgency about it. That may be the problem.
