I was directed to this link via Brens journal. I’m a huge animal lover and found it difficult to watch the videos to THIS STORY. It breaks my heart to see that an animal toy can do that much damage to a dog. Please, I urge you to read about Chai and help spread the word.

I'm surprised (well, not really) that only towards the end of the comments does anyone offer practical advice on breaking a vacuum. And I don't think anyone suggested drilling a couple of holes in any existing dog toys you might have.
The company's response wasn't good, but given the attitudes of most people commenting on the original story I can understand they might think to cover their arses before all else.
