*raises hand* Maybe like a city-world? The whole planet is just one huge city like Coruscant in Star Wars. It can have the lower level slums and the posh upper class skyscrapers. Just a suggestion! :D

How about a dark Victorian kind of thing? A la Jack the Ripper / Jekyll & Hyde / Sherlock Holmes / other gaslight romances and gothic mysteries. I guess this could be rolled into Steampunk, but I think going for a more historical bent might be cool. Lots of opportunities for fiesty ladies challenging historical gender roles, opium dens, you name it!
