Well...I just got a card from my dad that he wrote on Sunday stating that he was going to be putting her down "this week." Which...given the card was written on Sunday and it is now Friday night. Yeah, it was a hard day, but I know how sick my baby girl was, and she's OLD. I've had her since I was 11, and I'm 24 now. She's 13, and for a golden retriever, that is really old. I will always remember how much she meant to me, and she--along with her brother Splinter--was the first real pet I ever had that I was old enough to remember. She is a very special girl...
