BPAL lunacy & summer scents

SMOKEY MOON  Soft sandalwood, nicotiana, and velvety orris drifting over lustrous pale musks, stephanotis, elemi, and cyclamen.  Torn about this one... I love smoky scents, but pale musks often go soapy on my skin and the floral notes aren't among my favs.

Yes that one in particular sounds like a must-have! I have such a weakness for the resin blends - I keep thinking I have so many, why do I need more? and then she comes out with a new twist. Did you ever track down those other scents you were looking at? We should talk swapping sometime!

You know, I have only gotten a few of the many I have coveted. My researches in olfactory delight were derailed by the fact that I have reacted allergically to about one third of the ones I got. I have used them in the twisty tapers....imp by imp, lol. That personal candle tin smells very good indeed! And in wax, they seem less problematical than on my skin.

I like making wax tarts for burners with them, too. And I've made the occasional candle. Have you tried a scent locket rather than putting them directly on your skin - there's a few I don't react well with myself. Let me know what you're still looking for; I have some spare imps, and I can always decant :)
