Personality: Ethan is a generous and kind soul. He cares about the people around him and would really like it if everyone just got along. He's sometimes easily intimidated, but after having befriended Pimento Pepper and Cassie Carys, he's gotten a bit more confident. Ethan is often seen with a friendly smile on his face, as it's his way of trying to keep the mood of the room up.
Strengths: Both magical and personality:
Magical:
Ethan doesn't have the strongest magical ability. He might have been considered a squib if one hadn't looked a little closer. However, for what doesn't come easily, he studies twice as hard. So he has a fairly good knowledge of magical theory, especially for his age. **His metamorphmagus ability is about the only thing that comes naturally to him and he puts a lot of energy into learning about that. However, because metamorphmagi are born and not made, there is little documentation on the phenomenon.
Personality:
Ethan is loyal and unassuming. He likes to get along with most people, but is fine if they just don't get along. He has no real need to be liked by everyone and is happy having a few close friends. Although he can sometimes be easily intimidated, if he doesn't know you then he will be nice. He's caring and loving towards his friends and always helpful. Ethan has a thirst for knowledge and will often ask more questions than anyone else. He's curious to the point of obsession, although that hasn't developed yet. (he's 12)

Ethan has difficulty with the most simple spells. He is often the last in class to be able to master something. If it weren't for his constant studying, it would be hard for him to keep up with everyone. Because of his lack of skill at Charms, he has low confidence when it comes to spells. **This is countered by the recent revelation that he is a Metamorphmagus, something that no one else is. It's given him a bit of confidence, if only so he can change his hair colour every now and again.

Ethan has been known to go along with his friends and not really speak up with his own opinion. He likes feeling as though he's part of a group, even if they might be doing something not so good. He is a bit on the shy side and can be manipulated quite easily.
Fears:
Ethan fears failure and doing poorly on a test. Sometimes he's convinced that he's just a big fraud and doesn't really belong at Hogwarts and one day everyone will figure that out. He's uncertain about a lot of Muggle things at the moment, but that will die down as he gets older. Also, he's terrified of Public Speaking.
History:
Ethan Matthew Tibble's parents met at Hogwarts. They were married about 15 years ago and then had Ethan. Both are from average but unnoticed pureblood families. Ethan is the oldest of 4 children and the only one in Hogwarts at the moment. He has cousins on both his mother and his father's side. They spend Christmas and other holidays together. Both sets of his grandparents are still alive and well and they visit them on occasion.
