i've still not yet heard from my relatives who are in the islands near Sumatra and Bintan Island. That was where my late grandma grew up before migrating to Singapore.

aye no worries. there are my distant cousins and the last time I went there to meet them was in 1989 or something. it's brutal, there are already poor..and poor country and that thing happened. thats like the worst for the worse. it's mother nature and nothing we can do about it.
