I'm moving my journal back to friends only for the time being. I highly dislike doing this because one of the reasons I like lj so much is all the people I've met through random chance. I would have never become friends with hooper_x or blakeh, or the folks I met via them like ladyygrey and ytse if I had kept all my entries friends only. And you guys are bitchin ( Read more... )

I'm the same way, I like keeping it open in order to meet people. And also because people like my bastard dad who I barely know, I have ben told reads it, sometimes my mom does (if she can get off drugs long enough to see straight)(I live far from both), and random other business people, people who have bought puppies from me. Sponsors & potential sponsors $$$. I also have a handful of friends who refuse to take part in lj or myspace, but I know they like to read what their friends are up to once in while.

I just put some on private, keep some open.

Thank you so much for voting for her. That's really sweet. I'm ready and more than ready for the contest to be over, but have to admit it'd be great to win for Kelli's sake.

Which friend, out of curiosity?

I will almost certainly open it up again within a few months. I love meeting new people.

That's pretty neat! As I'm sure the other 9 finalists are, I'm anxious about getting the results tomorrow!
