It was going to happen sooner or later and, if I'm honest with myself, sooner. I found out, this morning, that Bishop Michael Evans (bishop of East Anglia, the diocese in which I live) died on Monday. He'd been diagnosed with early-onset aggressive prostate cancer not long after he was ordained bishop in 2003
