Perhaps because I don't melt at the bare sight of Orlando Bloom, and because I wasn't willing to butcher Russel Crowe only because A beautiful Mind won the Oscar for "Best Movie" and LOTR didn't that year. I guess I'm still too normal.

I don't think that's it. ;) I don't swoon for Orlando at all, and Legolas was my least favourite figure in the PJ movies. And I didn't have that movie rejection either. I seem to be more of a book purist, after all. :)
