A Ficlet

[ethereal_hobbit]

This afternoon I've written a short fic, quite spontaneously. In this tale, Frodo has a special dream in Ithilien that gives him new hope to go on. And I think to start 2005 with a little, hopeful tale is a nice start of the year... :D

Very good and hopeful for a start of year indeed! Was this inspired from one of your dreams? Very vivid imagery and Gollum's wicked interventions were spot on!
Small observation: 3rd paragraph from the bottom "Sam was glad to witness to see his master filled with new hope. "

This was actually inspired by the lighting of the beacons in the movie, but I have to admit that there are some parallels to my situation (they have a symbolic character, of course). :)
