Craig, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Friendship in words shared online is a part of real life, as much a part of real life as friendship in words shared in the same physical space. It may build a solid foundation for the possibility of increased depth to the friendship in person, or it may be the whole friendship; in any case, it's real.
