Goals for the future
It seems like everything that's been going on that's worth writing about happened in Pittsburgh. Kind of weird. I wonder if it means something. I'm thinking too deep. Anyway, I started my summer reading for Miami while I was away and to my surprise, I really like the first book. I'm about half way done and it's really got my attention. It's a book

but, anywho... tammy metcalf wouldn't let you write for CJ if you weren't good and if you didn't have potential. i thought the EXACT thing going into UD (not sure if you were aware, but i, too, was once on the Spirit News Quarterly Staff and am also a journalism major)... but i've gotten 3 articles in UD's paper already, was told by one of my journalism teachers to keep writing, and was recommended for a journalism job as a frosh (granted, i didn't get it, but it's the thought that counts). i guess what i'm trying to say is I didn't think I was any good, but I'm makin' it (i'd like to think that, at least).
okay... i suppose that is it. love and miss you much. i'll try and come visit you at the stone one day...
