We're moving....again.

I knew it was coming up and it's a relief after all the house hunting to actually find a place,  but I'm really not looking forward to the moving process. Hopefully this time we wont have to move again so soon though, 'cause it'll just be Sam and I after Beck moves to Melb. She's coming with us initially, but won't be living with us for too long.

No-one ever wants to do the packing and un-packing. I keep trying to find volunteers every time I move, but no luck so far. It sounds like you have a lovely place to move into, though, so hopefully that will take the edge off the annoyance of the move itself.

Yeah, that does make it better, 'casue there's excitement as well. And we're more of a cohesive whole this time, so moving shouldn't be such the monumental organising event just to make sure everyone's done what they need to. So that will take the stress off.
My sister always offers to help me pack, but she tends to be more of a hindrance - she doesn't like my taste and quite frequently wants to throw out instead of pack.

Your sister sounds like she could be a fantastic antedote for hoarders everywhere. :D I think I probably threw out more than I packed in my last move. The only problem is that I have to keep resisting the temptation to replace it all...

I went on a mad clearing out spree just after our last two housemates moved out earlier this year. Resisting the urge to replace, wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it might have been.
And it makes me feel really good now, knowing that I only have half the amount of stuff to pack. :)

It's good that you actually found a place, though, after last time....

Yeah, we had to move again. The hosue is really too big for the 3 of us anyway, but becasue Becca is looking for work in Melb and will move as soon as she gets some, there's now ay Sam and I could afford that house on our own, nor would we want that much space.

The house we got is just near the uni.
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. There's a coutyard bit too, so we'll set up our seats there. It'll make a great palce to sit and read all day on my days off.

I need to talk to you more often. I'm thinking about coming up, but at the moment I only have weekends or Tue/Wed free. If I asked nicely, I might be able to move days around, but I don't know...
