I assume that is the same as the American film "Dangerous Liasons" , which I have never seen (though I want to.)

I did see "Cruel Intentions" which was a modern day remake of it.

Sounds like a fun part! Congratulations!

The play is an adaptation of the novel, and the Dangerous Liaisons film is an adaptation of the stage play. Then there is 'Valmont', which is another film adaptation of the novel (and apparently quite different). I don't know where 'Cruel Intentions' fits in :-/

I believe this was based on the novel, but set in modern day. With Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) as Katherine.

It was an extremely well acted movie - you ought to watch it if you haven't seen it.

Louise Fletcher played your role in it. :-)
Also with Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair, Christine Baranski...stellar cast.
