Alright, I know that I only come here and write when I need to vent, or are upset, or need to figure something out, but this is the only place I feel like I can do this any more. So, I'm sorry you never hear about the good parts of my life (which there are a lot of) but I need some place to just tell someone something... and there is no one around

I'm sorry Jake. I went through similar rough-ness my first year at college, and I know how miserable it can get. I'm about half asleep right now, so the profound words of comfort aren't exactly happening this morning--suffice it to say that I know you're strong enough to bluster through the briar and come out strong on the other side (perhaps with a beautiful lady on your arm).

If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to call, or text me an SOS. I'll try to be more in touch, since I am the original hermit.

On another note, can't wait to see everyone (hopefully) tomorrow at your sister's graduation party!
