There's just that feeling that he's too-something and I'm too-something-else. It's not that he's too good-looking for me, and it's not that I'm too smart for him. It's not that I'm too shy to clue him in, and it's not that he's too confident that we're just friends to notice. A girl and I once spent two years trying to work out if we were right for each other. Half the time we thought we were friends, the other half we were In Love. We flip-flopped between these sentiments at opposite times. When I was thought she was the one, she thought I was a good laugh. When she thought I was husband material, I thought she was a pal.

After all the confusion that caused, we finally realised that we'd changed. Half of the things that had been different back then just weren't different any more. We were PERFECT for each other!

Then I moved to another continent.

I'm sorry. : ( I'm actually moving too... only this person is moving to the same place, hah. That's one of the reasons I feel like I should get over it. I really want to have a good friend when I go to New York. Even better to have a really good guy friend. You know?
