As I make my merry way through Washington, I notice signs everywhere that advise against littering. Not just the traditional "Minimum $500 fine for littering" signs, but signs with a much more ominous nature. They simply state "DON'T LITTER, IT WILL HURT". Exactly what kind of hurt is this? For christmas, i want a thigh length hooded well insulated wool peacoat, thin leather gloves with wool lining, and a pair of knee high leather riding boots with a wide calf and a goddamn low heel.

seriously, i think i may have to murder my roommate. every morning at 4am the phone rings and continues to do so every 15 minutes until someone gets to the phone and answers it. which was annoying when i first moved in, but i got used to the ring and can now sleep through it.
