Hey sweetie I jsut wanted to let you know that I have really missed chatting with you and am so glad to be back online. I have a new addy and if you don't have it let me know. I am looking into a new job, what do you think of Barnes and Noble? Do you have any kind of employee recommendation stuff there (thought it might help you if I got a job with one up here, doubt it though) Well love and hugs to you.
I absolutely love working for Barnes and Noble. However, I'd say the passion isn't really about the money, it is more about the culture: being surrounded by books, knowing about books when they arrive, purchasing them at discount and getting them for free.
The pay isn't the best, but it is relatively easy to get a promotion to lead (full-time) if you are a hard worker.
I will ask my managers tomorrow if there is a program to recommend. Otherwise, feel free to use me as a reference, although I am just a lowly bookseller.
Hi sher hope your in good spirits up there ~.^ I know we didnt get to spend much time together while you where down here but I hope well change that next time heh...
Anyway I really hope your enjoying it up there and remember to have fun :)
Thank you dear, it always makes me happy to read a positive message. Work is tearing me up-it's so different now, as I've had weekends off the past month, and morning shifts the rest of the week! I have open availability-the last thing I wanted was a 9-5!
How's the job search going? I think Coral Springs isn't a bad idea, as long as you don't miss the store too much.
Ah coral springs doesnt have any open slots right now...But Im not too worried my mind is focused on other things besides work so im not gonna stress it...
And yea 9-5 would get pretty dull fast I guess hun? ^.^
" an interrogation from a former German SS officer at 4 am in the morning." Really?! How freaky!
We won't be coming to Orlando this summer like we'd thought, but if we do ever make it down there somehow, I'll look you up! (Apparently my mother-in-law's conference plans fell through. :()
Techinically, he may or may not have been an SS officer. However, I'm fairly sure he was German.
The rest was exaggerating. He was the hotel proprietor that had forgotten to leave keys for us in the lockbox, since we were arriving at 4 am. As we are looking for the keys, he yells at us for causing all this noise and asks us what are we doing while complaining that it is so late at night, not giving us a chance to answer.

I am trying hard to rebel against becoming a morning person, and i'm basically becoming a zombie.
