EDIT:

I'll add back those I want to tonight when I get home. I'm sorry if anyone else felt the least bit insulted. It's just me being a bit selfish. Give me a little while to sort things out.

I need to do what I want.. it's that simple. *sigh*

xx Leslie

How absolutely fucking insulting this is to people who you obviously know care. I'm not including myself in them, as much as I'd like to, but I know there are several people on your list who care very deeply for you.

You can add me back if you want. I care to be on your list. I love reading your things. I enjoy you as a person and have cherished the small moments we have gotten the chance to chat. I don't think I had to say that though. You should know. I tell you almost every time I get a chance to. I love you very much and my feelings don't up and change about such things as this.

I am sorry you view this as insulting.. it's not meant to be. There are people in real life I don't want reading my journal.. and I had reason to believe they might have tried to get in on it by posing as someone else... it was much easier to just start over from scratch than to try and figure out who it was and delete them.

I am of course adding you back. And no, you didn't have to say anything but, "Add me!" .. people do this all the time, and I never find it insulting, so I guess I don't see how it's insulting to anyone at all. It's simply a way for me to have only the people I really love and enjoy on my list.. as opposed to those that I feel might have other intentions.

Well, everyone I have ever talked to about these "friends list games" finds them very insulting and childish. Yeah people do it all the time, I couldn't agree more, and they are very insulting and childish when they do it!!! This is apparently no one on your list though so I'm over ruled. Just replying with "Add Me!" would mean that I am playing along and I would hate you to think that I approved. When the people on my list usually do this I don't reply, which is why I they are no longer on my list. If they don't have the sense to remove only those who they don't want to ... you get the point.

I understand your point of view, even if I don't necessarily agree with it. I don't do this to play games with anyone.. I do this to protect myself. I've been infiltrated before.. so it's a very scary thought to me.

Of course, there are those of you that I would add no matter what.. you being one of them. This is mostly for those who I don't know a lot about, or who don't make any entries at all themselves .. thus giving me a chance to know them. That's what makes me suspicious.

If you have been through the crap that I've gone through down here .. I know you'd see it from my perspective as well. I say.. let's just agree to disagree and I still love you. :P And I always appreciate your opinion.
