A question: Did you Get It when you heard about it, or was it one of those things you had to experience first?
Around 19:00, just before call for the show, Butler County lost power.
AHAHAHAH OH GOD OH GOD.
The audience had already showed up by this point, and en masse they grabbed their chairs, carried them outside, and created an entirely new seating area. perrodecroy took all the tiki torches, propane lanterns, candles, and whatever that Calontiri flame monstrosity is called and created a lighting scheme using tin foil, serving bowls, and any other reflective surface she could get her hands on, crawling around in front of the front row to add more lights as the twilight faded

Kinda. It was my second Pennsic and Pennsic is pretty different from anything else I've done, except cohousing, which is still going through growing pains WRT community responsibility and free time. But having been the logistical brain for basically my entire first Pennsic, I definitely wanted more structure to hang my commitments onto than most people seem to do.

What happened was that the head of that camp was home pregnant so I took over since I'd organized camping trips before and no one else really wanted to. Things worked out ok, but I forgot to include a $50 item in the budget and we got into an argument over it because, of course, I didn't remember forgetting it.
Logistical braining is sort of my thing, so I didn't mind it (it was a much smaller camp/infrastructure than CCC), but I'd rather be logistical braining about bigger things.
