Gathering the lost sheep...

OOC - I'm just putting this post here because we need to get out of port soon. I will be on sporadically in the next few days, but replies will get replied to! Also, I am assuming that Pendragon has met the new crew, because he wouldn't let strangers wander on his ship. Sorry for my absences - once I get my new computer you'll be seeing a lot more ( Read more... )

Tag stepped back onto the ship, his heart heavy, and gave a glare to the workers still milling about, delaying their departure. How much was there left to do, really? He was terribly sick of all the noise. He hated being like this - stuck on land ( ... )

Pendragon smiled at the first mate. "Mr. Tag, it's good to see you. I was just wondering where you went off to." He motioned to the workers. "Once they finish their work, which shouldn't take too long from the look of it, we'll prepare for departure. As soon as we get the crew all gathered up, I think we'll about be ready to leave."

"As for where we're going..." Pendragon favored Tag with a mischievous grin. "We'll be heading in the general direction of the Tau-Chaos Galaxy. The particulars we can discuss when there's not so many distractions around." He gazed out beyond the workers, into the vastness of the etherium. More quietly, he said "I think a little adventure would be nice, don't you?"

"My apologies, sir. I have been taking care of personal business, as of late. My friends stopped by to see me and have taken up rather much of my time. Besides, with the noise...well, it's rather difficult to sleep aboard, as well."

He gave another look to the workers. In truth, the ship was beginning to look more like a proper vessel rather than a patchwork quilt, though it didn't make him feel any better about the voyage. "The Tau-Chaos galaxy, Captain Flint? Are you...sure?"

He wanted to say "Are you mad?" but held it in. If the Etherium was a pirate hunting vessel it'd be just the place to go through. True, there were some nice vacation spots just past it, but it was a hard route to sail. He smiled slightly at the captain's question, and tilted his head. "Adventure, sir? I come from a planet of duelists. My idea of adventure is likely different from yours. I would hope that we'd not be doing anything that I consider fun."

Pendragon smiled slightly. "Let's hope not," he said, and ran a hand through his hair. He sighed. "So, when do you think we can have the crew ready for departure? What with all the new arrivals and departures going on, I've hardly even had time to meet them properly."
