Dating has always been an odd concept to me. I've seen the old TV shows and their concepts on dating, and it seems so natural for them. Of course they're actors, playing the role of someone on a date and have no vested interest to be concerned about. Okay. So I was just in the shower thinking about my wording and I have to amend something.

I didn't quite hit on him, so much as flirt with him. Thin line to some, but VERY different to me.

I share your bewilderment. Dating at one point was a way of showing off one's wealth. Now it is madness and nonsence.

While I am sure you are aware, I should preface by saying I dont adhere to the "classic" formal relationship. I honestly see only "use" relationships for sexual what not, and preffer to keep a gaggle of friends instead of a significant other.

Regardless I would look at a date as an opportunity to talk about past ect. Understand someones nature over demeanor and all that rot >;-)
