As long as you have realised your calling, you have got something good out of this experience at least.

Your friends will always be there no matter what and we all think that your stuff's great! (As do all the people who hear it, even non-techno/EBM/etc fans)

You're talented and will be successful.

One thing it did do was prove to Geoff that he *could* go up on stage and play a show. He was so scared before the Neuroticfish gig, but he did it, and he did it well.

I'm sorry you found my E-mail demeaning. I was indeed, as Steve says, going to call.
However, a combination of being manically swamped with demands for promotion work, the domestic scene (you know a little of that) plus the worst and longest period of allergy I have ever experienced meant that it was best I didn't.
I thought what I wrote was diplomatic and dignified - at least I hoped it was.
I could have waited until I had the time and a head clear enough to call, but thought it unfair to keep you on hold once the decision was taken. I did not want to go into "issues", which I might well have done had I called. It's hardly worth mentioning that E-mail is 99% of my communication in any case.

And, while it might appear "gutless" not to have called (and I'd agree if appearances were not so deceptive), here's one of those issues:
